Debut album “Shine Like The Sun” is coming along well as we go through the mixing stage with Alan (Lord Hagos) Haggarty working his magic. Mr Hagos has worked with Ash, Kate Nash, Ozric Tentacles, and of course Senser who achieved a number 4 UK album - we are in good hands!
13-7 headed up to T-Pot studios in Fife a few weeks ago to discuss the mastering process with Robin Wynn Evans and did some prelimenary testing of the mixes by running them through the studio 1/8 tape (from Kim Wilde’s studio – remember her…?) Robin has agreed to master the album so looking forward to that.
With Ash releasing their new album “KABLAMMO!”this year Mr Rick McMurray is busy working on the Ash promo and tour plans – check out their first single from the forth coming album by clicking on the pic below.
Thirteen-Seven will be playing all possible gigs around the Ash scheduling starting in Dundee on 28 March and will be playing some dates in Edinburgh as we build up to release and tour our debut album. It all looking good!
Photo-shoot with last week with Pete Burns (8-bit-rage). Lots of fun and great results. Many thanks Pete!

Thanks again to Sean and the gang at Referendum TV www.referendumtv.net/ for a great night as we discussed the big vote and played an unplugged version of “All The Dreams” from our oncoming album “Shine Like The Sun”.
Thirteen-Seven are delighted to announce that Rick Mcmurray of Ash has joined the band. He absolutely demolished the drum tracks for our album a few weeks ago and you can see this DAEMON OF THE SKINS in action tonight 24-Jul at Opium, Edinburgh. We hit the stage around 8pm. Hope you can make it along ;P
Thirteen-Seven have been flat out busy working on their latest release and best work to date.
This uncompromising and full hearted first album release “Shine Like the Sun” has been a long time in the making, drawing from our live performances and musical influences over the years.
Again the recording will completed with producer and sound engineer Alan ‘Hagos’ Haggarty who produced the number 4 selling UK album Senser “Stacked Up”.
The band line up has changed, introducing some new members, and we have some BIG news to disclose once the time is right. Watch this space…
We are looking forward to getting back out onto the live circuit and will announce the Album launch night back at The Wee Red Bar, Edinburgh Art School. Should be a big night!
Thirteen-Seven back to the Wee Red Bar after a great night last time with Valentiine. This time we are playing with Dick Dangerous And The Love Bastards from Edinburgh.
Rumour has it we will also be performing an azid jazz/rock/blues fusion with a certain Saxaphone player Come along – will be a cracker!
After a cracking night in The Wee Red Bar with Auzzies Valentiine in sunny June the band had a short break to nurse our tired fingers and sore heads – the aftershow party was a stonker and went out till very late !
After a return to our local Bannermans on the 31-Jul it was off to Dundee’s 20 Rocks venue for a double header on the 1-Aug. 20 Rocks is a great venue with a first class sound system – check it out when you are in Dundee!
We currently have 5 songs out to mix with legend mixer and sound engineer Haggis so really looking forward to that! Also will be doing a field recording this Thursday of the latest 3 songs which we have been playing live ;
‘New Orleans’, ‘Shine Like The Sun’ and ‘I Want To Know’
- can’t wait to get back in the studio and get these nailed down.
Our video for second single off the EP – ‘Hold On For Your Life’ is in progress with Phillipe Monteux – should be fun. Its going to be filmed at Calton Hill so if you see us running around there you’ll know why
Gigs coming up at Dunfermline Sat 28-Sep and back to the Wee Red Bar for another cracking night on Saturday 19-Oct.
Cheers for now

Needless to say we are very excited by this release and look forward to the live shows as we hit the road in 2013.
